With Afropunk London only announced last week, there was one name that caused a load of controversy as the event’s headliner, and now it appears MIA may be pulling out of the event all together.

Sorry I'm not doin Afropunk. I've been told to stay in my lane. Ha there is no lane for 65mil refugees who's lanes are blown up! #nolanes

Afropunk London is set to go ahead with or without MIA on 24th September at Alexandra Palace.
