Middle Kids have released a lo-fi new video for ‘Don’t Be Hiding’

“We made this video at Harry’s house. It’s relaxed and playful, like the song.”

Middle Kids have dropped a new video for ‘Don’t Be Hiding’, the latest track from debut album ‘Lost Friends’.

Hannah Joy says of the song and video: “There are so many things we feel ashamed of and then so often hide. When hidden, it is easy to feel people don’t know us and if they did know us, they wouldn’t accept us. ‘Don’t Be Hiding’ calls us to be honest and brave in sharing who we are whilst learning to love ourselves and each other as imperfect yet cherished people. We made this video at Harry’s house. It’s relaxed and playful, like the song, as if to create a space to explore this idea of sharing and accepting.”

The Aussie trio are hitting the road in support of the record later this year; they kick off on 16th November in Brighton, and wind up at London’s Village Underground a week and a half later.

The details are:

NOVEMBER
16 BRIGHTON Sticky Mikes Frog Bar
17 BRISTOL Louisiana
18 GLASGOW Stereo
20 MANCHESTER Deaf Institute
21 NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE Think Tank?
22 LEEDS Brudenell Community Room
24 NOTTINGHAM Bodega Social Club
