Midlands up-and-comers Violet have dropped their debut single.
‘FEEL’ – out on 15th September via HolyHowl – is a properly infectious guitar-pop banger that’s influenced by the very best of 90s Britpop and grunge; it’ll hit you right in the feels.
“’Feel’ was written in an existential daze before getting a flight, I went to our lock up and recorded a really rough demo incase I didn’t make it home,” says guitarist Luke Brickett.
“The song is quite bleak, but quite close to me, it questions the subject of what happens after our time is up on planet earth and the limbo like state that we seem to be in.
“Anyway, I made it home and showed the guys and by iteration reached pretty much what it is now.”
