Muse, Foals, Christine & The Queens and more take over Glastonbury on day one

Best way to get over yesterday’s news? Head to Worthy Farm.

Muse, Foals, Two Door Cinema Club and Christine & The Queens were among the highlights of an emphatic Friday at Glastonbury, well and truly bringing the good times once again.

With Muse closing out the day with an almighty racket on the Pyramid Stage, standout performances were abound – with Foals laying down just why they could be handling Glastonbury in a few years time with a massive sunset performance, whilst Two Door Cinema Club returned to UK soil with the first glimpse of their era lead by new single “Are We Ready (Wreck)”

You can check out a heap of coverage and performances over at the BBC Glasto site, including full sets from Foals, Two Door Cinema Club, Bastille, Daughter, Muse, Christine & The Queens and AlunaGeorge,

Glastonbury 2016 continues today with a pretty low-key headline set from, ya know, Adele alongside performances from Tame Impala, New Order, Chvrches, The 1975, Wolf Alice, M83 and a whole lot more.
