Nine Inch Nails are planning a new EP before this summer’s festivals

It’s the second part of a trilogy of releases.

Nine Inch Nails are set to release a brand new EP very soon indeed.

Emailing those who pre-ordered the band’s various upcoming vinyl re-issues, Trent Reznor explained there’ll be a new EP released before the band’s festival appearances this summer.

They’re set to appear at FYF Fest in Lost Angeles and Panorama Festival in New York before the end of July, with a slot at Riot Fest following in September.

The EP will be the second in the trilogy that began with last year’s ‘Not The Actual Events’, with a third arriving in 6-8 months time.

As part of the email, Reznor wrote:

“DID YOU KNOW THERE’S A NEW TOP-SECRET NINE INCH NAILS EP THAT WILL BE RELEASED BEFORE THE FIRST SHOWS WE DO THIS SUMMER? DID YOU KNOW NOT THE ACTUAL EVENTS WAS THE FIRST PART OF A TRILOGY OF RELATED EPS THAT WILL BE RELEASED ABOUT 6-8 MONTHS APART? NOW YOU DO. MORE INFORMATION ON THIS SHORTLY…”
