After dropping surprise EP ‘Not The Actual Events’ back in December, fans who pre-ordered Nine Inch Nails’ ‘Digital + Physical Components’ have finally received their ‘physical component’.
Posting pictures to Twitter of black envelopes covered in dust, alongside letters and photos generally around the theme of things having consequences, fans have saved us the hassle of getting black powder all over the carpet.
This all seems quite about right for Trent Reznor and co, especially after he called the EP “an unfriendly, fairly impenetrable record that we needed to make.” Lovely.
We can also expect two more major Nine Inch Nails projects this year. Let’s hope they come with a little less housework.
Intriguing mail today… It's gonna leave a mark. Thanks @trent_reznor 🙂#NineInchNails #NotTheActualEvents pic.twitter.com/SvmxR2SwyR
