Noah and the Whale’s Charlie Fink announces debut solo album ‘Cover My Tracks’

The release on June 2nd is also the name of a new theatre production at The Old Vic

It’s been a while since we heard from Charlie Fink. After fronting the swooning tones of Noah and the Whale till they split in 2015, those distinctive vocal chimes have been sorely missing – so it’s happy days all round with the news that Charlie has a debut solo album on the cards in ‘Cover My Tracks’.

Set to land on June 2nd, the record (which includes an appearance from The Staves) is set to feature alongside a new theatrical production of the same name to be staged at The Old Vic on London between June 5th-17th. So quite the busy bee our mate Charlie eh?!

The news comes with the album’s opening track ‘Firecracker’, a swelling tale of meeting someone special at a Manchester Business Hotel that’s packed full of the unmistakable charm and honesty that makes Charlie one of the most treasured voices of the past decade.
