Get ready for the track that nobody asked for, yet now will be stuck in your head for the foreseeable future – as Fall Out Boy have finally revealed their take on the Ghostbusters theme song – titled ‘Ghostbusters (I’m Not Afraid)’ and featuring the returning queen of hip-hop Missy Elliott.
Full of punchy pop hooks, the take on Ray Parker Jr’s 1984 classic is an interesting one, bringing the franchise bang up to date ahead of the upcoming remake.
It’s a part of a fuller Ghostbusters soundtrack that boasts appearances from Wolf Alice, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Walk The Moon, ZAYN and the pick’n’mix stylings of a track featuring Mark Ronson, Passion Pit and A$AP Ferg.
Woah.
The film’s out on 15th July, and we want the soundtrack now.
