Reports suggest that the original Smashing Pumpkins line-up may be set to make a return.
Consequence of Sound reports that the something “big” Billy Corgan hinted at during a recent video may refer to the definitive Pumpkins line up of Corgan, drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, guitarist James Iha, and bassist D’arcy Wretzky returning for the first time since 1999.
Chaimberlin has played with Corgan on and off over the last few years, rejoining the band properly last year. Iha, meanwhile, joined the band on stage back in March for the first time in 16 years, with Wretzky suggesting she’s “consider” rejoining.
