The line-up for this year’s BBC Introducing Stage at Reading & Leeds has been announced and – spoiler alert – it’s packing one of our absolute faves.
Yep, the mighty – MIGHTY – Pale Waves are heading to the August Bank Holiday blow-out. They’ll be joined by a whole heap of other new bands too.
On the Friday in Reading and Leeds on the Saturday we’ve got Avenoir, Brooke Bentham, Honey Arcade, Moses, Olly Chamberlain, Phundo Art, Plaza, Rale, Scott Quinn, Sugarman, the Golden Age of TV and TOUTS.
The Saturday (Sunday in Leeds) is where Pale Waves appear. There’s also Cassia, Colouring, Dan Stock, Ider, Island, KOYO, Playing House, Sœur, Too Many Ts, Verschieden and Will Sin For Love.
Then on the Sunday (Friday in Leeds) there’s Alibi, Anna Straker, Chroma, Deadset Dream, Ginger Snaps, Honey Lung, Low Island, Mosa Wild, Penguin, Queen Zee and the Sasstones, Rock Bottom Risers, and the Pale White.
Some 10/10 band names in there.
Reading and Leeds take place between 25th and 27th August. You can find a full preview in our new issue, out this Friday. More on that ‘later on’.
