Pale Waves’ BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend set is packed with future bangers

Best get acquainted now with one of the most exciting new bands on the planet.

Over the weekend, BBC Radio 1 threw a massive party in Hull. City of glittering delights, their Big Weekend packed all kinds of superstar names. Being the BBC, they’ve also shared a whole load of performances in case you missed it as it happened.

As part of the fun, the BBC Introducing Stage packed in a whole load of new talent. While, with most of these bands, we’re content with showing you one glorious highlight – there’s one who are a little bit special. Thankfully, some fairy godmother type has uploaded Pale Waves’ full set to ‘the internet’. The band flew in specially from The 1975’s US tour, before heading straight back, to play. Finishing up with Banger Of The Year So Far ‘There’s A Honey’, you can get acquainted with a whole bunch of future classics too. We recommend opener ‘Television Romance’.
