Pale Waves go under the covers in their vid for ‘There’s A Honey’

Now that’s what we call a banger, volume two.

We’re not budging on this one – Pale Waves’ ‘There’s A Honey’ is 2017’s Banger of the Year so far. If it’s beaten before Santa comes, we’ll be very, very lucky little campers. But what could make an already perfect song better? A video, of course.

There’s now a visual accompaniment for the track, featuring the band performing under a big sheet with nice pink lighting. It’s a bit Cure-y, a bit like someone living in some My Bloody Valentine artwork, and a bit like their collaborating big brother Matty from The 1975 has let his brain bleed all over it.

According to Heather from the band, speaking to The Fader where the clip premiered, it takes it’s inspiration “from American sculptor Daniel Wurtzel”. That’s proper culture, right? Can someone relate this to a pop band for us?

Pale Waves are off on tour with The 1975 in the US. Check out the video below.
