The Pet Shop Boys are going into retail

They won’t sell you a new pet, though.

The Pet Shop Boys are opening a shop to celebrate the release of their new album ‘Super’.

We say celebrate – we mean to flog some stuff, obviously.

The retail establishment will open on Friday, April 1st, closing on Sunday April 3rd at Boxpark in Shoreditch (obviously – Ed). Trading between 11am to 7pm on Friday and Saturday, and 12pm to 6pm on Sunday, it will sell a “range of new Pet Shop Boys merchandise”.

No pets, though. Which is a missed opportunity when you think about it. Though also potentially a nightmare. Could Chris Lowe handle a big dog? Would Neil Tennant clear up after a pissing hamster? Answers on a postcard.
