Phoenix debuted three new songs in their first live show in three years

The Parisian electro-pop heroes kick started a huge 2017 in Antwerp on Saturday night (April 22nd)

That Phoenix train is well and truly kicking into gear. After announcing a huge world tour for the year ahead, teasing tracks left right and centre and even soundtracking a new Calvin Klein advert with some new material, our appetites are well and truly whet.

The Parisian heavyweights must of known this when they returned to the live stage on Saturday night (April 22nd), playing a headline show in Antwerp and debuting three new tracks as a part of it all. Titled ‘Ti Amo’, ‘J-Boy’ (which was previously teased by the band) and ‘Role Model’, they came during a show which stood as their first live performance in over three years.

Now, as always with these things, video footage is scarce, but here’s a collection of shots below which has some new music a-playing – confirming that the explosive pop hooks are coming and they’re coming thick and fast.

Phoenix are set to return to the UK in September, for a huge headline night at London’s Alexandra Palace.
