Pinegrove have cancelled their US tour following an accusation of “sexual coercion”

Frontman Evan Stephens Hall has released a lengthy statement.

Pinegrove have pulled their US tour and are “taking some time off” following an accusation of “sexual coercion”.

Frontman Evan Stephens Hall announced the news in a lengthy post on Facebook this afternoon.

The statement explains that he has “been accused of sexual coercion” by someone he was “involved with” and “I monumentally misread the situation”.

He goes on to say: “In reflecting on interactions with other people I’ve met through music, I see I could have been better there too.”

There’s no news yet as to how this will affect the band’s upcoming album – the follow up to 2016’s ‘Cardinal’ – or their March 2018 UK tour.
