PJ Harvey and composer Harry Escott have teamed up for a new track

It’s to mark the release of new film Dark River.

PJ Harvey and British composer Harry Escott have collaborated on track to mark the release of new film, Dark River.

The song is called ‘An Acre of Land’. Escott – who scored the whole flick – says of the team up: “Recording PJ Harvey’s vocal on ‘An Acre of Land’, a song we arranged together for Dark River, was a spine-tingling experience.”

“[Dark River is] a film that leaves me wanting to take more care of those around me,” he adds, “which is a good thing for a film to leave you with!”

The film premiered at the 2017 London Film Festival in October, and will be on general release from 23rd February.
