Pond drop ‘30000 Megatons’ on us with this new scorcher

The Aussie dreamers have revealed a track ahead of schedule because of, y’know, that thing that happened earlier in the week

Despite getting ready to unleash a whole new album’s worth of stormers, even swirling psych dreamers Pond have taken notice of what’s happening in the ol’US, releasing a fresh new cut ‘30000 Megatons’ to sum up the mood.

Bristling at the seams with pure tension and twitchy energy, it’s a slow-burning one that builds to an electro-induced crescendo – and once again shows the panoramic destinies that the band are aiming for as they head into 2017.

‘30000 Megatons’ is expected to feature on the band’s upcoming 7th studio album, that’s been given a tentative release time-frame for “early 2017”. Produced by Tame Impala’s very own Kevin Parker (whose blooming well been in the band in the past), it’s also set to feature lead single ‘Sweep Me Off My Feet’ – which made its way into the world last month (October).
