Come in, New Rock Revolutionaries. Dust off those cobwebs, squeeze into those skinny jeans and tape up the holes in those Converse. It appears The Strokes are about to drop a brand new track.
The NYC icon’s frontman Julian Casablancas starts his new SiriusXM radio show later today (May 26th). Titled ‘Culture Void’, it kicks off at 10am EST – that’s 3pm in the UK – and is being teased as featuring “the word premiere of brand new music from The Strokes’.

It doesn’t appear to be over enthusiastic grandstanding, either. Last night the machine cranked into gear, with projections for something titled ‘Future Present Past’ appearing throughout New York and on London’s Brick Lane. You can see a video of what was being shown below.
Casablancas’ Cult Records website is also featuring The Strokes’ logo and the hashtag #FuturePresentPast. This is definitely happening, and if the reaction the last time The Strokes debuted the lead track from a new album are anything to go by, we should be prepared for some Big Opinions. Bring it on.
