Prophets Of Rage debut first track, announce EP

The protest supergroup have dropped their self-titled first cut.

Protest supergroup Prophets Of Rage have revealed their first original material as a group, with the self titled ‘Prophets Of Rage’ coming from an untitled new EP set to drop over the coming months.

Exactly what you’d imagine, the song is full of anti-establishment guttural punches that can’t help but get you pumped. You can guess the rest of the EP will be the same, all produced by the acclaimed Brendan O’Brien.

The group – formed of Public Enemy’s Chuck D, Cypress Hill’s B-Real and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Willk are set to play a huge show in Cleveland in opposition to the Republican National Convention before heading out on a huge US tour later this year.

Whilst there’s no UK shows lined up so far, we guess they’ll be over here pretty soon to deal with the mess kicking off at Westminster.
