Red Hot Chili Peppers mixing new album with Nigel Godrich

The band are putting the finishing touches to their new record with Flea’s Atoms For Peace bandmate.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have posted a new studio photo featuring long term Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich.

The band have been working with Danger Mouse on the follow up to 2011’s ‘I’m With You’. Now it appears they’re mixing it with Godrich.

“Started Mixing the new record today! @nigelgod at the helm,” drummer Chad Smith tweeted, alongside the photo.

Godrich is also a member of Atoms For Peace, alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to headline both Reading & Leeds and T In The Park festivals this summer.
