Most artists like to drop new tracks, y’know, online and that – but then again Robyn is no ordinary artist, with the electro supremo debuting a taste of new track ‘Honey’ on US telly show Girls.
Creating a specific version of the track just for the show, it’s the first signs of a new album that’s been hugely anticipated ever since the release of her last studio LP ‘Body Talk’ back in 2010. Sizzling with that electro-tinged energy that we’ve come to know Robyn for, it’s a bloody exciting look at what’s coming our way.
It comes after Robyn recently returned to the UK to support The xx at one of their ‘Night + Day’ residency nights at London’s Brixton Academy – which also lead to a joint performance of ‘Every Heartbeat’ the following night to boot. Which is just sensational in oh so many ways.
Check out that tease of ‘Honey’ cut straight from the show itself – along with Instagram posts from both Robyn and Girls’ creator Lena Dunham explaining the track
