Run The Jewels deliver 360 degree ‘Crown’ video

The duo are very serious about virtual reality, with their own cardboard viewer on its way.

Run The Jewels have released a special ‘virtual reality’ video for Run The Jewels 2 cut ‘Crown’.

Recorded in a 360 degree frame, you can watch the clip though the New York Times’ NYT VR app, available on both iOS and Android. It comes as part of the New York Times Magazine’s first ever music issue, and will launch on YouTube and Facebook next month.

The ‘Crown’ video is the first release from VRTJ, a platform for Run The Jewels’ VR content which will provide live performances, material from their Art The Jewels gallery, and more. The duo will also release a special cardboard viewer on Record Store Day.
