Sea Girls have fun and frolics with a mannequin in their new video for ‘Call Me Out’

It’s partly inspired by Ryan Gosling’s Larz And The Real Girl.

London via Leicestershire and Kent four-piece Sea Girls have shared a new video for ‘Call Me Out’.

It’s four minutes of guitar pop that showcases the band’s knack for a catchy chorus, taken from the newcomers’ debut EP, which came out back in June via Almanac Recordings.

“For ‘Call Me Out’, we wanted this video to tell the story of a tongue-in-cheek emotional romance, and is partly inspired by Ryan Gosling’s Larz And The Real Girl,” the band explain. “The idea of a torrid love story with a mannequin seemed like a good basis to start that out from…

“It’s the band’s first video, so I hope people don’t think our lovely dummy is a better actor than I am!”
