Roskilde Festival has announced a few more names for its 2018 event.
Leading the way is Chelsea Manning, who will talk about activism and making a change in the world on Thursday 5th July.
Head Curator at Roskilde, Mette Woller says: “The story of Chelsea Manning is dramatic and personal, and it’s highly relevant in 2018. We believe the festival-goers will be particularly interested in her will to make life-altering decisions and deal with the consequences. This won’t be a one-way talk, and we encourage the participants to be an active part of it, ask questions and inspire each other.”
Eleven new music acts have also been announced: The Blaze, Rome Is Not A Town, Kelly Lee Owens, Juana Molina, Sigrid, Stefflon Don, Regelbau presents Central + DJ Sports + C.K + Manmade Deejay, Ond Tro, Smerz, Nyt Liv and Motorsav.
Roskilde Festival 2018 will take place from 30th June – 7th July, in Denmark.
