Sky Ferreira has been cast in Edgar Wright’s forthcoming project Baby Driver.
Set for a 2017 release, the film is about a talented getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) who runs into trouble when a robbery goes wrong. Other cast members include Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Lily James, Kevin Spacey and Eliza González.
That’s not the only acting work Ferreira is up to. Writing about her upcoming commitments on Instagram, she also announced she’s appearing in Jessica Manafort’s 2017 film ‘Rosy’. The film she was cast in last year – The Trust, featuring Elijah Wood and Nicolas Cage – is premiering at SXSW, while Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno, where she also appears alongside Kevin Spacey, hits US cinemas in April.
It’s not all film for Ferreira, though. ‘Masochism’, the much anticipated follow up to 2013 debut album ‘Night Time, My Time’, is set to drop this summer.
