As you can imagine, we’re pretty transfixed with what’s going on in the world of Sky Ferreira – which makes a new video for her version of ‘Easy’ a time for celebration over here in Dork HQ.
Her version of The Commodores classic (which our mate Lionel Richie should be over the moon about) was featured in Edgar Wright’s latest movie ‘Baby Driver’, which was released earlier in the year. Along with a cameo appearance in the film, Sky contributed this absolute doozy – which now has a video directed by Mr Wright himself and featuring clips of the movie and Sky in the studio crooning away.
Along with her recent appearance in the revival of TV classic Twin Peaks, it’s another sign that has us hoping and praying of new music on the horizon, with long-awaited second album ‘Masochism’ still in the pipeline – following on from her stunning debut ‘Night Time, My Time’ which was released back in 2013.
