Sløtface unveil the powerful new video for ‘Bright Lights’

The track is lifted from the Norwegians’ latest EP ‘Empire Records’

Norwegian melody movers Sløtface have unveiled a powerful new video for latest track ‘Bright Lights’.

Chronicling the journey of a young woman on the way home from a party, the video comes fresh off the release of latest EP ‘Empire Records’ last Friday (November 18th).

Speaking to NME about the video, lead singer Haley Shea said:

“We wanted to show people all of the things women do to feel safer when they’re walking home at night alone. We think it’s wrong that you should feel less safe being a woman on the streets, and worry that people don’t pay enough attention to it as an issue. It’s all about removing everyday sexism and making the world a safer place for everyone. We think awareness is a good place to start.”

After a huge 2016, Sløtface are set to return to the UK next year for their biggest headline tour to date, kicking off at The Castle in Manchester on February 13th before hitting up Leeds, Glasgow, London and Brighton to round things off.
