Taking to the telly box last night (October 10th), St Vincent served up a stunning live version of ‘New York’ that has us in pieces.
Accompanied by a sole pianist (rocking the shiny red look that we could only dream of nailing), it’s a dazzling reminder as to how important Annie Clark is – with just a few days to go till the release of new album ‘MASSEDUCATION’.
St Vincent only yesterday debuted new cut ‘Pills’, joining ‘New York’ and ‘Los Ageless’ as moreish teasers of the record that we’re already clearing space as one of our faves of the year. St Vincent will mark the release with two special UK headline shows next week, calling into Brixton Academy on October 17th, and then to Manchester’s O2 Apollo the next night.
