January 20th ain’t far away, which means that Menace Beach’s new album ‘Lemon Memory’ ain’t far away – and signs are that it’s going to be an absolute belter.
Case in point – new number ‘Suck It Out’, a sky-high groover that fizzes and cuts its way into your noggen on the very first listen, delivering that gritty sweetness that’s found Menace Beach heading straight for the big leagues in emphatic fashion.
Speaking about the track, Ryan Needham from the band explains that “the song is about going into a bit of a negative brain-space and being shitty to people but realising it and wondering whether do something about it or not”.
‘Lemon Memory’ is definitely going to be a landmark moment for Menace Beach, so we went and chatted to Ryan and partner-in-crime Liza Violet for the next issue of the magazine – which you can pre-order here right now.
Menace Beach will mark the release of ‘Lemon Memory’ on January 20th with an extensive UK headline tour, kicking off with a Rough Trade in-store appearance on January 23rd before heading all over the place from January 31st and through February (more on all those below).
While you wait, wrap your ears around this one – and ‘Suck It Out’ in style.
