Suede have announced a brand new European tour, including a final stop off in London.
The band, who release their new album ‘The Blue Hour’ on September 21st, will play the capital’s Eventim Apollo on October 12th. That follows on from stops in Amsterdam, Milan and Copenhagen.
Gwenno will support on all shows, with The Horrors also joining for the London date only.
‘The Blue Hour’ was produced by Alan Moulder at Assault & Battery Studios. According to the record’s blurb, it sees the group “explore new ground”, featuring a choir, spoken word, and string arrangements.
“The Blue Hour is the time of day when the light is fading and night is closing in,” the band explain. “The songs hint at a narrative but never quite reveal it and never quite explain. But as with any Suede album, it’s always about the songwriting. The band, the passion and the noise: The Blue Hour’.”
