Suede have announced a second night in London for their upcoming European tour.
The band, who release their new album ‘The Blue Hour’ on 21st September, will play the capital’s Eventim Apollo on both 12th and, now, 13th October. That follows on from stops in Amsterdam, Milan and Copenhagen.
‘The Blue Hour’ was produced by Alan Moulder at Assault & Battery Studios. According to the record’s blurb, it sees the group “explore new ground”, featuring a choir, spoken word, and string arrangements.
“The Blue Hour is the time of day when the light is fading and night is closing in,” the band explain. “The songs hint at a narrative but never quite reveal it and never quite explain. But as with any Suede album, it’s always about the songwriting. The band, the passion and the noise: The Blue Hour’.”
