Today, we’re adding another, teaming up with Insight to bring the really rather brilliant Honey Lung to Bedford Esquires on July 28th.

If you’re not already up to speed on Honey Lung, it’s probably time to sort that out. Start off with their latest single ‘Sophomore’, which dropped earlier this month. It’s exactly the kind of scuzzy gem we love.
“In a nutshell, it’s a song about depending on your friends,” explains songwriter Jamie Batten, “and just the intricacies of relationships in general. Built to Spill was a big [influence]; some minor shoegaze from Ride, and a little from Modest Mouse.”
