Talk about a ‘First World Problem’, here’s the new Unknown Mortal Orchestra video

The stand-alone single is their first new material since last year’s ‘Multi-Love’.

After taking on the world with their sun-kissed psychedelic breezes, Unknown Mortal Orchestra have given their stand-alone single ‘First World Problem’ an official video, with dancing galore.

The video was directed by Jamie Lees and choreographed by Kiani Del Valle, who discussed working on the video: “I aimed to create a dialogue between two art forms — film and music, I wanted the video to be a response to the band’s lyrics and musical melodies, rather than showing literally what the song is saying. I am a big fan of silent films and how unspoken language can add a second layer to speech.”

The track is a stand-alone number after the massive success of their last record, ‘Multi-Love’. After contributing to The National’s Day Of The Dead tribute record, the band will be back on UK soil to play Green Man next month (August 18th-21st).
