The 1975 are starting their first ‘Music For Cars’ studio session “in a matter of days”

Work on the band’s much anticipated third album continues.

It looks like The 1975 are about to head into the studio for their first session recording their third album.

We already know the record will be titled ‘Music For Cars’ and arrive next year. Now manager Jamie Oborne has revealed the band are getting read to start recording the record proper.

“MFC first studio session starts in a matter of days,” he tweeted. “A band at the peak of their powers. Slightly terrified.”

Thanks to Matt Healy’s Twitter feed, we already know all kinds of stuff about the new record, including a song title and the suggestion he’s going for a white and black colour scheme.
