It looks like that new Killers album may be getting closer.
As Stereogum points out, legendary producer Dave Fridmann has a running list of what he’s working on, that you can see via his website here. On it, he lists all kinds of stuff he’s been up to. One such item stands out – “doing a mix for the Killers’.
The band have been at work on a new record for a while, with Brandon Flowers claiming late last year we should expect something this year. With a massive headline date in London’s Hyde Park planned for this summer, it wouldn’t be too outlandish to expect we’ll know more by that point, either.
Fridmann’s website also points out he’s been mixing new music for Alvvays, which suggests that much anticipated new album isn’t too far away either.
