Find out more about their new record, set to arrive this September.

The Killers have been talking about their new album ‘Wonderful Wonderful’, set for release this September.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the band describe what “might have been the slowest” of their full-lengths to take shape.

In the chat, they run through a few of the songs on the record. We’ve already heard lead single ‘The Man’, while ‘Run For Cover’ has had a live debut. They also revealed detail on two more tracks, ‘Life to Come’ and title track ‘Wonderful Wonderful’, while mentioning a couple more titles, ‘Rut’ and ‘Some Kind of Love’.

You can check out some of what they had to say about the songs below, and read the full thing here.

‘Run For Cover’
A song written nine years ago, it’s been reworked for the new album after Brandon’s brother sent it back to him every year without fail. “He loves it,” Flowers explains. “It’s just a gentle reminder that this song exists, and he wants it to be heard.”

‘Life To Come’
Started with Ryan Tedder, they finished the track off with Jacknife Lee. “There’s a song [Tedder] did with U2 on Songs of Innocence called ‘Every Breaking Wave’ that, to me, was the best song on that record. That was one of the reasons we reached out to Ryan,” reveals Brandon.

‘Wonderful Wonderful’
The title track features “some of the coolest production on the record,” apparently.
