The Killers’ touring line-up is down to two full, original members, as guitarist Dave Keuning has announced he’s taking a break from the road.
In a statement, the band confirms Keuning’s plans – revealed in an interview with Q magazine – to spend more time with his family. Like bassist Mark Stoermer, he’ll still be recording with the band.
Keuning “will be taking a break from touring to spend time with his family,” the statement reads. “We respect his decision, just as we respected Mark’s decision to go back to college.
“More importantly, Wonderful Wonderful will be released on September 22, and we can’t wait for you to hear it – on record and at the shows. We will not disappoint.”
Long standing touring members Ted Sadblay and Jake Blanton will replace Stoermer and Keuning in the band’s live line-up.
