The Libertines’ Gary Powell has hinted at a possible release date for their new album.
Speaking to The Star ahead of the band’s headline sets at Tramlines and Truck Festivals, Gary said “we are actually in the process of writing a new album.”
“The new album is due out in the Spring next year,” he continued.
The record would follow 2015’s return ‘Anthems for Doomed Youth’, the band’s first in over a decade. Tomorrow (21st July) The Libertines will headline Tramlines in Sheffield, before going on to headline Oxfordshire’s Truck Festival this weekend.
