The National have stopped by US radio station, KEXP to perform a few tracks.
Alongside material from their not long released their seventh album ‘Sleep Well Beast’, they also pulled out rarity ‘Rylan’.
“This is called ‘Rylan’,” explains frontman Matt Berninger, “which we haven’t really done since we did it on a four-track somewhere. I don’t know if these are the correct lyrics, but we’ll give it a shot.
‘Sleep Well Beast’ is the band’s first full-length release since 2013’s ‘Trouble Will Find Me’.
They recently played UK tour to celebrate, kicking off in Cork and going on to play Dublin, Edinburgh, Manchester and three nights at London’s Eventim Hammersmith Apollo.
