The new issue of Dork is out now, featuring INHEAVEN, The Horrors, Nothing But Thieves and more

There’s also Wolf Alice, Sløtface, Orlando Weeks and loads more.

It’s no secret that we bloody well love INHEAVEN.

We’ve been raving about them since our first issue hit the streets. Last month, we gave their self-titled debut album a full five star review. That’s why we’re really really really (really) delighted to bring them to the cover for the first time with the October issue of Dork, on the streets today (8th September). It’s been a long time coming.

As the big beasts of Q4 approach, we’re saying “hiya” to another of our absolute faves, too. Wolf Alice have been teasing us with 14/10 bangers for a couple of months now, but now they’re back with their second album ‘Visions of a Life’ – quite probably our most anticipated record of 2017. Spoiler alert, it’s absolutely stunning. Yeah, we know you could have guessed. There’s a huge review in this issue just to make sure, though.

With Reading & Leeds out of the way, there’s loads to get your teeth into this month. From our massive review of the festivities to chats with The Horrors, Nothing But Thieves, Sløtface, Orlando not-from-The-Maccabees-anymore and loads of other faves, we’ve got your essential guide to keeping boring at bay.

There’s Queens of the Stone Age, Rae Morris, Bloody Knees, Rebecca from Slow Club with her solo project Self Esteem and news of our so-hot-it-hurts tour with King Nun and FREAK later this month. In Hype, we’ve got the amazing Alex Lahey, Yassassin, Bad Nerves, Sea Girls and Cassels, while in reviews we tackle new releases from The Killers, Foo Fighters, Liam Gallagher, Girli, Death From Above and more – and it’s not good news for everyone. Insert your own ominous sound effect here.

Add to that all the usual bits and pieces – plus a few special surprises – and you’ll want to get your hands on a copy. You can order or subscribe here, it’s the best way to make 100% sure you get a copy. You can also pick up a copy in record shops, venues and bars nationwide, or read it digitally via Issuudork and the Dork app on iOS or Android. Got all that? Lovely.
