The Shins head straight to ‘Mildenhall’ with this latest track

Another chunk of ‘Heartworms’ has been laid out into the world, and it’s sounding special

James Mercer has wrapped his hands firmly on 2017, with new number ‘Mildenhall’ swooning hearts as The Shins prepare for new LP ‘Heartworms’.

Delicate and hearty in equal measure, ‘Mildenhall’ tells the tale of RAF bases, cheap beer and more – providing an insight into the journey that’s lead James to where we find him now. Which is making bloody stunning music as The Shins.

‘Mildenhall’ is taken from The Shins’ incoming new album ‘Heartworms’ – set for release on March 10th and crammed full of rich moments like already revealed numbers ‘Dead Alive’ and ‘Name For You’. It’s going to be a corker, especially when The Shins play a special headline show at London’s Eventim Apollo on March 29th too.

Check out the lyric video for ‘Mildenhall’ below, which finds our mate James wandering around London, enjoying a cracking snack and a thrilling Tube ride. We’ve all been on them.
