The Shins serve up new cut ‘Painting A Hole’

An extra glimpse of next week’s new album ‘Heartworms’

In preparation for the release of their long awaited fifth album ‘Heartworms’, The Shins have given us another great big helping of groove in the form of ‘Painting A Hole’.

With a dark pop edge to it, it’s an earworm made squarely to hook you in for their anticipated new chapter – packing that wink of Shins fun that has made them such a bloody force.

Joining ‘Dead Alive’, ‘Name For You’ and ‘Mildenhall’ as previously unveiled cuts from ‘Heartworms’ – it’s shaping up nicely as another classic bake from James Mercer’s kitchen, all good to tuck in when it’s released on March 10th.

The Shins have recently been confirmed for this year’s Green Man, following on from a one-off headline show at London’s Eventim Apollo on March 29th.
