The Vaccines promised us a new album in 2018, and now we’re getting the first taste.
‘Combat Sports’ – set for release on 30th March – is the band’s first record with their new line-up, after the departure of drummer Pete Robertson last summer. Pete’s been replaced by new drummer Yoann Intonti, while touring keyboardist Tim Lanham is also now a fully-fledged member of the Vaccines.
Before that, they’ve dropped the first single from the record – titled ‘I Can’t Quit’ – which debuted as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1 earlier this evening (3rd January).

The Vaccines will be heading out on the road in April to promote the new record, starting off in Bristol on the 3rd and wrapping up at London’s Alexandra Palace on the 14th. You can see full details below.
