The War on Drugs have dropped a new video for their single ‘Holding On’

Get ready to be emotional.

The War on Drugs have a new video for ‘Holding On’, the second single from their upcoming album ‘A Deeper Understanding’.

Based on a concept by ‘Breaking Bad”s Krysten Ritter, the touching clip was directed by Brett Haley and stars Frankie Faison from ‘The Wire’.

When we meet him, Frankie’s character is alone and isolated. But as the video follows him over the course of a day, he ventures out into the world and meets new friends, shoots pool, and hitches a ride from the War on Drugs’ own Adam Granduciel. Paired with ‘Holding On”s sparkling soundscape, it’s all pretty emotional. We may have shed a happy tear.
