After selling-out their Brixton Academy show in quick-sharp time, The Wombats are now to set to celebrate debut album ‘A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation’ with two more dates added around the country.
The spiky indie-pop trio will headline Glasgow’s O2 Academy on June 27th before hitting up the Liverpool University on June 29th. It all ties in nicely ahead of that sold-out Brixton show the night after on June 30th (it’s great when everything just lines up nicely isn’t it?!)
The Wombats are celebrating 10 years since the release of debut album ‘A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation’ – which included indie-disco favourites like ‘Lets Dance To Joy Division’, ‘Kill The Director’ and ‘Moving To New York’. We’ve all thrown some serious shapes to them, so you can guarantee these nights are going to be something special.
The Wombats will also call into a number of festivals this summer, with slots already confirmed at Truck Festival and the newly announced Community Festival.
Tickets for those extra headline shows are on sale from Friday (February 24th).
We will also be celebrating 10 years of our 1st album in Liverpool – the place it all began. Plus we couldn’t forget Glasgow! The ‘bats x pic.twitter.com/0i9ou6n3eY
