The xx kicked off their European tour last night (November 28th) in Croatia, dropping a heap of live debuts, debuts in general and even some Jamie xx covers.
Performing at the Bocarski Dom in Zagreb, the trio gave outings to recently revealed tracks such as lead single ‘On Hold’ and SNL favourite ‘I Dare You’ – before revealing two new numbers from ‘I See You’ in the shape of ‘Brave For You’ and ‘Performance’
The comeback set saw The xx whip through their acclaimed career, giving airings to favourites such as ‘Angels’, ‘Islands’ and ‘VCR’ amongst others before delving into some cuts from Jamie xx’s acclaimed debut ‘In Colour’ with ‘Stranger In A Room’ and a mashup of ‘Gosh’ with mammoth mover ‘Shelter’.
This points to a bloody amazing live show lined up for fans when The xx head out on their UK tour next year, which includes 7 nights at London’s Brixton Academy to celebrate the release of ‘I See You’ on January 13th.
