After threatening to leak her new record for a while now, M.I.A. will go about releasing stuff in a more typical fashion with a new single expected to drop this week featuring the digital bass-boomer himself Skrillex.
Premiering the lyrics to the track on Genius, it’s yet another teasing track from the mercurial Londoner after debuting cuts such as ‘MIA OLA’, ‘Foreign Friend’ and ‘Temple’ over the past few months – with all expected to make the new record.
For now, we can only wait and see. M.I.A. will be headlining (or so we think – Ed) Afropunk London at Alexandra Palace on September 24th.
