Anyone who knows anything about the buzziest label on the block, Dirty Hit, knows that the best way to keep up to date with the latest gossip is to keep an ear open to the twitter feed of label founder and manager of basically all the best bands, Jamie Oborne.
And anyone who knows anything about being excited about new music knows the words Pale Waves are like a glorious, fluorescent bat signal in the sky to buzz chasers.
So, when we combine the two, we’re prone to getting a bit over excited, like we are now.
“When will Pale Waves release a new song?”, one fan asked via Twitter.
“Couple of tunes coming soon,” Oborne replied, setting our pulses raising. “One single and one surprise.”
A SURPRISE?! WE LOVE SURPRISES!
Couple of tunes coming soon. One single and one surprise. Xx https://t.co/rmzHVAhod5

Oborne also revealed his favourite Pale Waves song is the as yet unreleased ‘Noises’ – a track which previously Heather Baron-Gracie has described as “about very low self-esteem and analysing yourself too much”.
While he was at it, Oborne – who also manages The 1975 – confirmed something we already sort of knew. Matty and co. will be in live action this October.
Something will be happening in October live wise. X https://t.co/juQkBil5GR
