Lets not get carried away, but things are happening in the world of Vampire Weekend and they’re happening fast – especially if you’ve been keeping an eye on their website for the past six months. Which we definitely haven’t.

Eagled-eyed fans have spotted that the band’s official website has got itself a revamp, now featuring a plain white background with the band’s logo – signalling that things are certainly afoot. Does that mean more news soon? We’re hoping so.
It’s all rather exciting, especially with the news announced yesterday of the band’s first confirmed live show in over four years at this year’s End Of The Road Festival – taking place at the end of August with a pretty spectacular bill. With frontman Ezra Koenig revealing their anticipated new album was about “80% done” towards the end of last year and had a working title of ‘Mitsubishi Macchiato’ – we’re pretty sure we’ll have heard some new music before they step on that headline stage.
Till then, we wait – but it’s all looking pretty promising right? In the meantime, lets remember this big-time banger
