Thomas Cohen has shared the video for new single ‘Hazy Shades’.
The track is taken from forthcoming debut solo album ‘Bloom Forever’, released by Stolen Recordings on 6th May.
“We shot Hazy Shades in San Francisco on Super 8,” Cohen explains. “We wanted it to be an awkward lonely cowboy trying to find his way in the city. The outfits are all 40s and 50s cowboy stuff. We spoke to loads of locals and cab drivers to find areas that wouldn’t be there for much longer to shoot in.”

‘Bloom Forever’ is describled as “a chronologically ordered document of the songs Cohen wrote between 2012 and 2015”. A press release explains how “tragedy is present on the record”, with the time period including the death of Cohen’s wife Peaches Geldof.
